About Us

AI-Powered Testing,
Built by Senior SDETs

We're a team of senior QA engineers and SDETs who got tired of generic AI outputs that don't understand real test automation. So we built the resource we wished existed.

Our Mission

Make every QA engineer and SDET 10x more effective with AI — not by replacing them, but by giving them the right prompts, patterns, and methodology to get production-grade output from AI tools on the first try.

We saw the gap: AI can generate test code, but without the right context and constraints, it produces generic, brittle, and often incorrect tests. Our 7-step guide and curated prompt library solve that problem.

1
Research your system before prompting
2
Define scoped, measurable objectives
3
Lock your system constraints
4
Iterate surgically, not broadly
5
One module at a time
6
Understand what you ship
7
Document and share

What We Stand For

The principles that guide everything we build.

Precision Over Volume

We believe in battle-tested, production-grade prompts — not generic templates. Every prompt is crafted from real-world SDET experience.

Speed Through Structure

Our 7-step methodology helps QA engineers get accurate AI output on the first try, not the fifth.

Framework-Native

Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, Jest, Postman — we speak the language of your stack, not generic "testing" advice.

Community-Driven

Built by SDETs, for SDETs. We openly share what works and iterate based on real feedback from the testing community.

Open Knowledge

We believe great testing practices should be accessible to everyone — from junior QAs to principal SDETs.

Continuous Improvement

Like the tests we write, we iterate constantly. Our prompts, guides, and tools evolve with the industry.

The Story Behind QA Tester AI

It started with a frustration most SDETs know well: you ask an AI to generate a Playwright test, and it gives you something that looks right but doesn't compile, uses wrong selectors, skips error handling, and tests nothing meaningful.

After years of building test automation frameworks at scale, we realized the problem wasn't AI — it was how we were talking to it. A vague prompt produces vague tests. A structured, context-rich prompt produces production-grade code.

So we built qatester.ai — a curated library of battle-tested prompts, a methodology for getting the best out of AI for testing, and a growing community of QA engineers who refuse to settle for generic output.

Whether you're writing your first Cypress test or architecting a cross-browser CI pipeline, we've got a prompt for that — and it's built by someone who's actually shipped it in production.
